A brand new “penny auction” site, Bidibot has been created by a few professional poker players and sports enthusiasts in an attempt to help online casinos and poker players to get in on the action without the need to go through costly satellites.
Bidibot will give players looking for more affordable games and events an opportunity to get their hands on poker and casino credits as well as a much cheaper route to a few top online poker tournaments by avoiding satellites.
This new site gives players a chance to bid in auctions for prizes such as poker or online casinos chips and credits as well as poker tournament packages worth up to $10,000 that include travel and accommodation from as little as one cent.
John Tabatabai, Chief Executive Officer for Bidibot stated that the concept is similar to eBay and that they have stripped away the financial barriers that prevent many poker players from developing their game and playing in higher stake events. He gave an example of a player possibly being interested in a $500 credit at an online casino. The player would enter the auction which begins at zero dollars and has a countdown timer of about five minutes. Every bid in the auction is set at a fixed price of one penny and 30 seconds is added to the countdown timer each time a bid is placed. The last person to bid when the timer hits zero wins the auction item. The $500 credit at the online casinos could, therefore, be theirs for as little as one cent.
Bidibot’s “penny auction” concept will offer online poker players real value for money.
